| I'm finally updating again!!!!!!!!
Well my goodness where should I start, I guess this week will have to be good enough.
My cousinNick's birthday was Thursday. He's 7 now. Amanda and I got him these dragon figurines. They look really awesome and he's collecting them so I thought it would be a good gift for him. I got them at this store in the new mall. It's called Nature's Habitat. It's a really neat store if you can get past the awful smell. They sell incense sticks, so I think it might be that that's causing the terrible smell. We also got these Celtic necklaces there. They look really cool. There were 12 of them and they all meant something different. At first I didn't even really notice the meanings, so I almost ended up getting one that meant sexuality. hahahahaha Which would have been really bad since some people really know what they mean. Luckily my cousin noticed the meanings and saved the day. We ended up getting the one we liked the meaning of the most instead of the prettiest one. The one I have means completion. Amanda has spiritual strength, and my cousin Libby has Virtue. ( I finally started capitalizing the meaning, should have been doing that from the start, huh?) Anyway we had a really good time in that store, you should check it out.
Amanda's birthday was the 5th. now she's a teenager, look out world!
I've been shooting pool with my cousin Brian lately. It's fun, but I really stink at it. We went to Lucky Strikes at the new mall. There are bowling lanes in it too. We should all go there some time.
I saw the movie First Wive's Club a couple of days ago. Boy was it funny! Have you seen it? If you haven't, definitely go rent it. It's really, really good. Goldie Hawn is in it and Bette Molnar, and there's another star I can't remember her name.
I just read Thorn Birds. It was pretty good, not what I expected though. It was about 550 pages long. I guess I really did like it to stick with it that long. My goodness. They have a movie out called The Thorn Birds too. I think the book is much better though.
I guess that's all for now!
Hope to see you all tomorrow!!!

| Yippee!! Amanda and I are going to the skating rink with our cousin Elizabeth in about half an hour. I'm not skating, but Amanda and Elizabeth's son Nicholas are. I think I'll have to take my camera and get a couple of pictures. It was kind of a last minute thing, Elizabeth gave me a call about an hour ago and asked if we wanted to go. It's so fun hanging out with her, so of course I said yes. Amanda is wearing ALL white clothes, because the lights make it look neat. I can't believe she is wearing white pants and a white shirt, Elizabeth said she should wear white and she really took that seriously. She looks adorable though. We don't get to do stuff with our cousin very often, because she works a lot. Nicholas is just the sweetest like little boy you could ever want to meet, he's six years old. He'll be seven this November, in fact his birthday is five days away from Amanda's, which means I'll be doing some serious birthday shopping soon. I love shopping so I'm looking forward to it.
Better be off!! | | |
| Nothing very interesting has happened this week. I do have some exciting upcoming things though, so I'll write about those.
I think I'm going to the ministries meeting at the SLC tomorrow. I want to help out in the cafe. They said they needed some more help in there, and that's just my cup of tea. I cook all the time at home, it's one of my passions. Although I don't think there's much cooking going on in the cafe, just heating things up in the microwave. Oh well, it'll still be fun.
I'm probably going to the mall this Monday, which is going to be sooo fun. I know going to the mall isn't a big deal to most people, but I very rarely get to go there, so it's a big deal for me. My brother's birthday is next Friday, that's why we're going to the mall, to get him a present. I was thinking about getting him a shirt for work, and a Steeler hoodie. He is such a big fan of the Steelers, he never misses one of their games. He even has my little niece wearing Steelers socks! That's ok though, she's only eight months old. Boy is she a cutie, her name is Emma Madison, and I like to think that in a way, they semi named her after me. My name is Emily, for those strangers out there who don't know.
I've gotta go!! Talk to you all later! | | |
| Well, I think I have the most free time of anyone in the world. Most people would think that's a good thing, but it's actually quite terrible.
There is some excitement tomorrow though. We have a loveseat and chair being delivered between 8 and 12 o'clock, and Amanda, my sister, has a dentist appointment at 2:30pm. Weirdly enough, Amanda loves going to the dentist. Actually, I don't really blame her, we have a really handsome hygenist. He's always so nice too. He makes you feel at home, so to speak. I guess we are pretty lucky in that respect, going to the dentist for most people is a terror.
I just got off the phone with Chrissy! We are having a movie night this Saturday!! I'm really looking forward to it. I mean really, really looking forward to it. We are going to swap books too, which is awesome, cause I have tons of good books that someone else should read, instead of just sitting there gathering dust. Books just aren't as good the second time, especially mysteries. I've been itchin' for some more good books to read myself, and Chrissy said she has some great ones, The Golden Compass sounds particularly interesting.
We just went to see my little niece yesterday. Boy, has she grown since the last time I've seen her, she's seven months old now. Her name is Emma Madison. My brother Steven, is the proud father. Speaking of Steven, his wedding anniversary is this Wednesday! My goodness, I almost completely forgot about it. This is his third anniversary. I remember his wedding like it was yesterday. His reception was really fun, and the ceremony was precious. I just LOVE weddings. It has been way too long since I've been to one.
I was thinking about learning how to dance the salsa. My cousin knows how to do it and she says it's fun. It looks awesome too. Let me know, if anyone reading this knows how to salsa.
I've gotta go!!! | | |
